Sustainability is being discussed as an effective managerial tool for businesses worldwide, yet little is known
about the current sustainable enterprise efforts of firms. In order to better advise businesses and their owners
of the specific advantages of practicing sustainable enterprise, we are collecting information about the
current practice in businesses in 40+ countries. Based on this information, we attempt to highlight achievements
and failures in applying sustainable enterprise principles.
Global Research to Strengthen Local Initiatives We believe that global information
leads to the early identification of trends worldwide, on which governments and organizations can act to
create value and to improve their relative competitive positioning. By looking at sustainable
enterprise characteristics in countries of all sizes, on all continents and of varying developmental stages,
we hope to gain a comprehensive insight into the challenges and opportunities to create and improve sustainability.
Collaborative and Cooperative Effort This global research effort combines the interests
and resources of universities, government agencies, business organizations and individuals. We gather data
with the help of 'distributors' in each country. Our survey tool is internet-based, available in the local
language, and easy to complete.
We are looking for Distributors If you share our commitment to sustainable
enterprise, we ask for your help. Please consider distributing our survey tool to your business
friends, by e-mail and without disclosing their addresses to us. Thank you! | |
